Payments & Billing Policy

1. Core Free Social Experience

ZoraGram is a free-to-download social media application. All foundational features—including account creation, personal and business profile setup, publishing photo posts, creating short video reels, browsing discovery feeds, and 1-on-1 direct messaging—are available to all members free of charge.

We do not charge mandatory subscription fees or access tariffs to join or participate in the ZoraGram community.

2. In-App Digital Purchases via Google Play

In strict compliance with the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement and Payments Policy:

• Mandatory Google Play Billing: Any optional digital goods, virtual gifts, profile badges, or premium booster tokens purchased inside the ZoraGram Android application (Package: com.zoragram.friendship) are processed exclusively through Google Play In-App Billing.
• No Alternative Payment Bypass: We do not route in-app digital purchases to external payment links or alternative payment APKs in violation of Google Play policies.
• Entitlement Synchronization: Upon successful transaction confirmation from Google Play APIs, digital entitlements or virtual balances are automatically credited to your ZoraGram user account.

3. Virtual Items, Coins & Creator Tipping

ZoraGram may offer optional virtual items (such as celebration stickers, reels applause gifts, or creator tip tokens) designed to enhance user expression and community appreciation:

• Non-Monetary Nature: Virtual coins, tokens, and digital gifts are strictly digital entertainment licenses. They possess no real-world cash value, accrue no interest, and cannot be withdrawn or converted into fiat currency outside our official Creator Monetization Program.
• Non-Transferability: Purchased virtual tokens are tied to your specific registered account and cannot be sold, bartered, or transferred between accounts.
• Consumable Items: Once a virtual gift is sent to a creator on a live reel or post, the item is immediately consumed and cannot be reversed or recalled.

4. Supported Payment Instruments

Because all payments are managed by Google Play, you can complete purchases using any payment method linked to your verified Google Account, subject to availability in your region:

• Unified Payments Interface (UPI): Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, or any bank UPI app (in India).
• Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, RuPay, American Express.
• Net Banking: Major Indian and international commercial banking portals supported by Google Pay.
• Google Play Balance: Google Play Gift Cards, redeemed promo codes, and Play Points credits.
• Carrier Billing: Direct carrier billing supported by participating mobile network operators.

6. Pricing Transparency & Applicable Taxes (GST)

All digital item prices displayed in the ZoraGram app are transparent and set in your local currency as determined by your Google Play Store account region:

• Tax Inclusive: Displayed prices in India are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST at 18%). In other countries, applicable VAT, sales tax, or digital services tax is collected and remitted by Google in accordance with regional statutory mandates.
• Price Modifications: ZoraGram reserves the right to adjust in-app pricing for optional features at any time. Any price changes for existing recurring subscriptions will be communicated with advance notification through Google Play, requiring your confirmation to continue.

7. Payment Security & Zero Card Storage

Your financial security is paramount. By routing all transactions through Google Play:

• ZoraGram servers never see, transmit, or store your credit card number, expiration date, CVV security code, bank account number, or UPI PIN.
• Transactions are protected by Google's multi-layered security infrastructure, biometric device authentication (fingerprint/Face Unlock), and RBI-mandated Two-Factor Authentication (2FA/OTP).
• Our servers receive only an anonymized cryptographic token (Purchase Token and Order ID starting with GPA.) confirming that the transaction succeeded.

8. Resolving In-App Purchase Issues

If you were charged for an in-app digital item but the feature did not unlock or virtual tokens were not credited, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Check your Google Pay Activity to confirm that the transaction was debited successfully and not refunded or pending.
2. Restart the ZoraGram app with an active internet connection to allow our billing receiver to sync entitlements with Google Play Services.
3. If the item is not credited within 2 hours, email our billing support team at support@zoragram.in or submit a ticket through Report a Problem quoting your Google Play Order Number (format: GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX). We will investigate and credit your entitlement promptly.
