1. What the Blue Badge Represents
The official Blue Badge (✓) on ZoraGram confirms that an account has been verified as the authentic presence of a recognized public figure, notable creator, celebrity, or registered business organization.
The primary purpose of verification is to prevent impersonation and protect the community from fraud. The badge confirms identity authenticity; it does not signify platform endorsement of the user's opinions, commercial products, or personal views.
2. Eligibility & Notability Criteria
To be considered for verification, an account must meet all of the following requirements:
- Authentic: The account must represent a real person, registered business, or legitimate entity.
- Complete: The profile must have an avatar, a bio, a confirmed contact email or phone number, and at least one published post or reel.
- Notable: The account holder must be featured in recognized news sources, media coverage, or hold demonstrated public prominence in their respective field (e.g. music, cinema, government, sports, business, journalism). Self-published or paid PR articles are not considered.
- Compliant: The account must maintain an active record of compliance with ZoraGram Community Guidelines without recent strikes.
3. Non-Paid Verification Model
4. In-App Application Procedure
Eligible account holders can submit a request directly through the Android application:

5. Administrative Review & Timelines
Verification applications are evaluated manually by our trust and safety compliance team within 5 to 7 business days. You will receive an in-app notification confirming whether your application was approved or denied. If denied, you may reapply after 30 days.
6. Loss & Revocation of Badge
ZoraGram reserves the right to revoke the Blue Badge at any time if:
- The account transfers or attempts to sell its handle to a third party.
- The profile changes its username, bio, or name to impersonate another individual or misleading entity.
- The account engages in severe or repeated Community Guideline infractions, hate speech, or harassment.
