Account Suspension & Termination Policy

Effective: January 01, 2026 Last Reviewed: October 23, 2026 Official App: ZoraGram (Android)

1. Overview & Principles

ZoraGram aims to maintain an authentic, respectful, and safe community for all members. To safeguard the platform, we enforce disciplinary actions against accounts that violate our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or applicable laws.

2. Grounds for Suspension

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Repeated violation of Community Guidelines following multiple strikes.
  • Publishing zero-tolerance prohibited content (CSAM, violent extremism, non-consensual sexual media).
  • Targeted harassment, doxxing, stalking, or credible threats of physical violence.
  • Deceptive impersonation, fraudulent commercial scams, or credential theft.
  • Using automated bots, unauthorized scraping tools, or attempting to compromise server security.
  • Operating an account while under the minimum age eligibility requirement (13 years).
  • Formal court orders or legal directives from competent statutory law enforcement agencies.

3. Types of Disciplinary Actions

ZoraGram applies proportional enforcement:

  • Feature Restriction: Temporary loss of specific functionalities (e.g. unable to post comments or send direct chat messages) for 24 hours to 7 days.
  • Temporary Suspension: Inability to log in, post, or view content for a designated cooldown period (e.g. 7, 14, or 30 days). The profile is hidden from search during this time.
  • Permanent Account Termination: Irrevocable closure of the account. All posts, reels, and followers are de-indexed, and the user's phone number, email, and device identifier may be placed on a security blocklist.

4. Data Handling During Suspension

When an account is suspended:

  • Public posts and reels are immediately hidden from public feeds and explore grids.
  • User data is preserved during active appeals windows or ongoing law enforcement investigations.
  • Following final termination, non-investigative media is queued for deletion pursuant to our Data Retention Policy.

If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may submit a formal request for second-tier human re-examination. Learn more and submit your appeal through our Appeals Portal.
